About Us

Formed as part of an adult night class in 1984, Brentwood Volleyball Club is one of the oldest volleyball clubs in the country. Since its formation the club has been a powerhouse of Essex Volleyball. Winning almost 20 league titles and even reaching the heights of National League Division One. Now operating three teams in the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Gender leagues run by the Essex Volleyball Association the club is a warm friendly environment in which anyone can come and play the game.

Currently the club session is coached by the Volleyball Addict himself Lewis Fenech. Lewis brings experience of playing the game in two different countries to the role. Currently one of a number of members playing in National League One with Team Essex Estonians. He is only one of a number of members with coaching experience. This makes the club an awesome place to hone your volleyball skills.

All club members play tough but with a family feel. Supporting each other through things on and off the court. When we aren’t on the court, you’ll probably find us at the Prince of Wales pub in Mountnessing. Enjoying some post match food and banter.
